Bromsgrove, UK, 23rd October 2020 – Trojan Consultants Ltd, the owners of a market-leading client money and case-management solution, have been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) G-Cloud 12 Digital Marketplace Framework. Trojan’s offering includes the CasparV application, a software service that enables Local Authorities to effectively manage case and financial records of deputyships and appointeeships under their jurisdictions.
CCS Frameworks provide a standard contractual arrangement between government, buyers and suppliers of cloud-based services that brings together regulations, guidance, and direct purchasing. It is sponsored by the Cabinet Office and is the biggest procurement organisation in the UK. It is designed to make procuring cloud services easier, faster, and more transparent for organisations, whilst saving money for the taxpayer.
Since being introduced, the use of the framework arrangement has had a massive impact on public sector procurement with stats showing for every £1 spent on the framework, £1 is saved in administration and procurement costs. This resulted in the framework providing a saving of over £1 billion of public money through services and agreements to 18,000+ public sector customers in 2019/20.
Now available through the framework is Trojan’s top Court of Protection software solution, CasparV. Just like the original on-premise application, this fully managed and hosted virtualised version of Caspar allows Deputies and Appointees to save considerable time and effort in every aspect of their client administration. Caspar currently operates in over 90 sites across the UK, managing more than £1 Billion worth of assets and 45,000+ active cases for Court of Protection teams.
As a G-Cloud 12 accredited supplier, Trojan will drive to deliver Caspar to more public sector sites as further local authorities adopt procurement rules stating that ‘software applications must be negotiated and purchased through a CCS framework wherever possible’. This successful application is a significant step for Trojan and is driven by the dedication of the business to move forwards with product development, with an emphasis on cloud-based technology.
Larry Morgan, General Manager, expressed his delight and said,
“We are delighted to be able to bring our unrivaled experience and expertise to a wider audience through the G-Cloud 12 Digital Marketplace. Caspar is key to ensuring regulatory compliance in the Court of Protection role and we are keen for our software to continue growing and developing as it benefits the vulnerable in our society.”
