The next stage in the evolution of Lawtech has arrived, and it’s available now.
Over the past year, Trojan Consultants has been engaged in a large-scale project to separate its cloud-based suite of applications into two new products, each specifically designed to meet the separate needs of public authority and professional deputies.
Now coming to market is CasparLaw, the first cloud-based financial management tool tailored to the legal profession. This is Trojan’s first product release into the legal market and has been designed through extensive work with stakeholders across the industry, including industry figures, law firms, and regulatory parties, to ensure the solution enhances best practice and assists with the adoption of compliant measures across the sector.
This launch of the new LawTech solution follows Trojan’s success in the Local authority market, where they host market-leading Caspar, used by more than 85 Local authorities and Solicitors to administer over £1 billion worth of assets for a combined 45,000+ vulnerable clients across the UK.
Built on the foundations of Local Authority success, CasparLaw is the comprehensive cloud-based tool designed specifically for Court of Protection teams to support with ever-growing administrative burdens and challenging regulatory demands.
The development project has been spearheaded by Product Manager, Geri Rawlins, whose previous experience, managing property and financial affairs as part of Legal 500 and Chambers ranked Court of Protection teams, as well as at a large local authority, has assisted in honing a solution specific to the sector. Of the release Geri says,
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the project of developing a next stage Lawtech solution. I believe that the work deputies do is absolutely crucial to the financial and general well-being of their clients, and therefore our solution had to reflect that; ensuring it supports and facilitates this complex and demanding work, as well as promoting best practice. Best practice is a real focus area for me, and the compliance reassurance that CasparLaw will deliver reflects just that.”
Geri continues,
“I’m really proud that we are able to deliver a bespoke solution and, as we continue working with the industry, we will continue to raise standards and outcomes for clients whose finances are being managed.”
This drive to constantly improve is reflected in the continued development of the Caspar suite of applications with CasparLaw providing Professional Deputies new and better financial management tools, such as:
- Account reconciliation at the touch of a button
- Budget forecasting with real-time updates as transactions are reconciled
- Full OPG reporting capabilities.
It sets a high bar for financial management, improving outcomes in the best interests of individuals whose affairs are managed by a Court appointed deputy. It delivers flexibility, versatility, and dependability and enables Court of Protection teams to:
- Effectively manage Client’s financial assets in real-time.
- Meet regulatory reporting requirements such as OPG supervision and reporting standards.
- Support the management of litigation processes.
- Maintain care team standards as an employer on behalf of clients.
- Mitigate insurance risks.
- Plus, action appropriate medical decision making.
CasparLaw. Intuitive, flexible, scalable. The future of Lawtech. Out now.
